Dr. Ivan Boyer has more than 30 years of experience including 25 years providing oversight and evaluation of the activities of AFCEC contractors at over 30 AFBs and other installations, facilitating communication among Air Force personnel, contractors, and regulators, and reviewing regulatory guidance documents for the Air Force Environmental Restoration Program.
Dr. Boyer is a goal-oriented and pragmatic scientist equipped with a broad background spanning cutting-edge areas of biology, chemistry, and physics, and capable of quickly interpreting complex concepts and expressing them in concise and straightforward language. His specialties include Toxicology, human health and ecological risk Assessment, remedial technology assessment, acquisition technical support, literature review, and technical writing. He has served high-profile clients including AFCEC, the AFIOH, the AFRPA, CIAU, OSD Emerging Contaminants Directorate, DoD SERDP, and private sector clients.
Dr. Boyer is the principal author of more than 100 technical reports, and has authored or coauthored reports and guidance documents in areas ranging from the mechanisms of chemical carcinogenesis to the conduct of site assessments. Dr. Boyer holds a PhD and an MS in Toxicology, an MS in Biology, and a BS in Biology/Psychology.
