Thomas Fitzhenry

Mr. FitzHenry has over 22 years of experience in the environmental profession and consulting industry providing comprehensive environmental program, facility and project management, field supervisory and hands-on experience. His experience in environmental engineering and multi-media remediation methods allows Mr. FitzHenry to provide comprehensive solutions. These cost effective solutions implement technically sound restoration actions across all life cycle phases of the project through final site closure. 

Mr. Fitzhenry has succesfully managed and implemented numerous emergency spill response activities; UST/AST tank closures; multi-media remediation system design, installation, operation, maintenance and optimization including innovative and sustainable technology implementation; and bench/pilot study design and implementation of recalcitrant and emerging contaminates.  He has successfully completed a number of such projects under RCRA, CERCLA, and Federal and State regulations for both government agencies and private sector.
He has performed Phase I/II/III environmental site assessment, NPDES reviews, and RCRA and TSCA waste stream characterization, disposal and transportation.  His first decade of professional experience was centered on providing investigation, engineering, and remediation system deployment predominately in the southeastern US. He performed these activities as an engineer and scientist under various US Air Force, Navy, Army and Army Corps of Engineers contracts. The second decade of his career has focused on managing the design, deployment and optimization of multiple ongoing environmental remediation projects nationwide.

Mr. FitzHenry graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a BS in Oceanography where he conducted field and laboratory research in several fields of investigation, including: coastal processes, remote sensing, habitat preservation, trace metal and pollution identification and distribution.
